Our wedding was on Halloween and we really wanted to embrace the spirit of the Holiday. We contacted Dona Jung based on her beautiful portfolio and very reasonable prices. When she wrote back about how excited she was at the idea of photographing a Halloween wedding, we knew she was the perfect person to capture our big day.
Dona Jung is an incredibly professional and creative photographer. We expressed the desire to have a fun, lighthearted Hallowedding and she embraced it. Our bridal party had a wonderful time posing for funny pictures on the Rehoboth boardwalk and at the arcade.
After the wedding our bridal party and guests went out of their way to express how much fun the photographer was and we agreed with them whole heartedly.
We are so happy with the quality of our wedding photos. Dona has a keen eye for color and composition and it shows. It was really fun to see how creative she got with some of the shots. Some of our favorites are the pictures of our wedding rings with various Halloween decorations, like in the mouth of a zombie and on the ring finger of a skeleton hand. We had a skeleton couple in the seats at our ceremony and she photographed one of them holding a Program. We laughed so hard at that one!

I was so blessed to have Dona shoot my wedding. I normally do not feel comfortable getting photos taken, especially of just me! But she made me feel so comfortable and like an absolute queen! At the wedding she was everywhere and really captured all the amazing moments of our big day. Dona had our photos done quickly and we had a few teaser photos early on! The photos were stunning and truly captured the love. When we received our photos they came in a beautiful package and inside was an even more beautiful box! I found her by asking my venue for a few suggestions but once I communicated with her, I knew she was whom I was going to hire. Hiring her was one of the top 3 BEST decisions I made for my wedding planning. Before the wedding I had MAYBE 5 pictures of my fiancé and I (he and I aren’t picture people) so I was very nervous about how we would do with a professional photographer with being awkward and etc loll. She was a literal DREAM TO WORK WITH! Day of, she was early and just took control with what she needed to do with very little direction from me because I was so stressed that day. She was SO HIGH ENERGY and charismatic and easy to be around. I honestly felt like I knew her for longer than just meeting her for the first time in person, day of wedding. Her and her husband (who was helping her that day) were SO easy to work with and were just so much fun! Even my husband who was a MILLION PERCENT dreading the photos, enjoyed the experience except for his cheeks hurting at the end haha. Her and her husband were constantly cracking jokes to make us laugh, giving us compliments to make us feel AMAZING, and all while giving awesome picture-posing instructions. My family was a big chaotic Italian family and she EASILY was able to get amazing family photos.
Now.. when it came to get the photos back, WOW SHE WAS SO QUICK!!! She first posted a HEAFTY facebook post like immediately and then she also very soon after the wedding emailed an online link and mailed us a USB. For perspective, my sister also got married the month before me in Richmond, VA and her photographer took 4 months (she JUST got them!) to get her photos and she hates 80% of them. ME…. Holy crap.. I actively can’t chose which is my favorite and which I could dedicate an entire WALL of my house of portraits from the event! The photos were UNREAL!!! Complete fairytale look. Everything I wanted in my wedding photos that I honestly didn’t really know how to describe that I wanted. She made everything so unbelievably easy and I will be forever thankful for her and her husband!
Without a SHADOW of a doubt, her phone number is permanently added in my phone for our family’s photographer.
